My name is Chris Klassen.

My love of baking has stemmed from my late Grandmother. She always had fresh baked goods whenever I went to her house. She was amazingly talented and I wish I had the chance to bake alongside her. I think of her every time I fire up the oven.

 

I started baking around 10 years ago. It was mainly cookies and brownies for the family, but it was fun baking from scratch and not relying on the boxed mixes that my mom would usually have in the house. When I started baking I was also at the beginning of a huge weight loss journey. The timing was a bit odd, but it kept me honest. 

I've always been a fan of puns, and since  high school my nickname has been Moose. 6 years ago I started to post pictures on Instagram of my home bakes, and a friend suggested that I should start selling my goodies. That night, Moost Have Desserts was born. Fast forward, and 6 years later I'm still here baking for a simple birthday party, large wedding, or catering for huge parties.

It's been a wild journey of ups and downs, but I'm very grateful to those who've supported me over the years, and look forward to doing much more baking in my future!
